Realism WIP: ..Look This Way..

Yup. I'm practicing realism again. XD At least it doesn't look like anime... or maybe it does? I don't know, you tell me.

I started drawing this in school. Did it with a pencil... I'm planning on coloring it soon, which is why it's not shaded as much as it's supposed to. I edited the pencil quite a bit to make it colorful. XD I can't do realism for crap... but my dad thinks I can. At least he'll give me constructive crits when I force them outta him. I have a ton of books on anatomy that I can use for realism, and I used one of them for the nose and lips. Eyes and ears come easy to me, even though I'm not the best at 'em.... just gotta remember that there's an eye width between two eves, at least 3 between the eyes and the mouth, the sides of the nose extend as far as the inner corners of the eyes do, there's an eye width between the bottom of the nose and the lips, the edges of the lips go as far as the pupils do... general facial anatomy. I need to practice that a lot, especially since whenever I do realism I tend to draw very long faces. So yay. XD No critiques please; I realize all my mistakes by now.

Anyways... I'm gonna have fun coloring this one. ^^ I've never colored realism stuff before. Enjoy!

PS: Uhm... my original idea was actually nothing like this. XD I was going for a more surrealistic and almost nightmare-ish piece... but then again my ideas change all the time like this. XD I was planning on putting the waterlily thingy there though.
