Lonely Sparrow

First off, I was SO lucky to have taken a picture of this. It took me forever to adjust it to the right focus and a few secnods later, thie darned thing flew away. This is a shot I'm most certainly proud of. ^^

I love how the BG is all glittery... I didn't intend it to be, but since my telephoto lens was being nice to me and it was a very sunny day, I guess it just happened to look like that. ^^ This was taken about the same time as the last one. My dad was there with me. This is also one of my best because I've never done wildlife photography before, and this is a good start, I think. ^^ there's gonna be a lot more photos after this (well, one more for today) so keep watching for more. PS: I'm pretty sure this was the sparrow doing it's mating call or w/e for the babies in a nearby nest in my aunt's birdhouse. They had a cute little family and in the next day or two they learned to fly. Sadly, however, a raccoon nearly knocked over the bordhouse before they woke up and one of the babies was killed. ;_; But the rest of the family survived. n_n
