Contest entry for 
's contest; Draw a mew mew character dressed as your favorite character from another anime. So I drew Ichigo dressed as Meroko from Full Moon wo Sagashite. It's the anime-version of her outfit with the ugly colors. x_x I'd do the whole black and pink thing, but in the manga Meroko wears fishnet stockings and I can't draw fishnets for my life. DX Yeah, I know that this is all horribly unoriginal but I don't really participate in contests enough so I decided to draw something for this one. 
Sorry about the crappy digital backgrounds! I was totally stumped when it came to doing a traditional one, so I just made this boring one. x_x The actual drawing took forever for some reason. I tried to make everything perfect. Unfortunately I was too stupid to realize that coloring red in red lines wouldn't turn out too good. DX Plus I tried to do foreshortening here but it didn't turn out good at all. My dad insisted that I made this look real but I'm like "Real? Pssh... heck no." But I did find out an awesome way to make the skin.I used my flesh-w/e colored Copic for it... I used the blender a bit where the light areas were, and while it was still wet, I colored with the skin color and pressed lightly where the blender was. Then I used the blender a little where the light-ness was. I like the outcome. I made it a bit darker though on PSP. I made a few dumb mistakes I need to point out though...
-I should've drawn Ichigo's bell and made the ribbon blue.
-I messed up on the buckly thing that held up her tights or w/e. It's not supposed to be blue, but I didn't have the reference...
-I drew ties on the boots instead of buckles.
-I made the zipper too fat.
-The colors are too light, The blue is supposed to be more of a cadet blue but it's too light. x_x
-I totally screwed up the hands.

MATERIALS USED: Micron 05 sepia inking pen, Micron 05 pink inking pen, watercolor brush markers, Copics (for the skin), and PSP X for the BG/editing.
