Shyeah. So this is my fashion design final project. After this we have to do something in pencil, and I need to get that done by Friday. D:

The assignment was to use a historical reference from 1900 or earlier and base a more modernized design off of it. I chose a Russian dress from 1870 and this is what I came up with, although the embroidered pattern in the reference looked MUCH better. Oh well. This isn't my best work, but it's my last fashion painting until, like, 11th grade. I'm doing drawing and painting next year. Anyways... the colors were hard to choose. I originally wanted a cream yellow and greens, but that didn't work out so I decided to do a different color scheme. This one turned out a lot better. My teacher helped me a lot during this. I'm still kicking myself for screwing up the pattern though. I should've done it in Copics. Or ink. Ah, whatever.

MATERIALS USED: Watercolors, Micron 01 brown inking pen, masking fluid (well, I never list that but I DO use it when I paint sometimes.). Touch ups and border done on PSP X.
