Good evening! Good evening! Good evening, fellow deviants! It is I, Sumomo, currently in NYC right now and finally posting that one artwork I was telling you about at my aunt and uncle's house while my aunt's in the shower, my uncle and 2 cousins are playing scrabble in the other room, and I'm sitting here typing this decription on my uncle's laptop. Yayness. I'll leave for DC tomorrow actually, on the am...track...whatever trainy thing. (I can't spell it.) I'll be b ack on Monday and my mom will be back from Florida then too, so I'll be more active by mid next weekish. Just wanted to let you guys know if you really think I'm dead.
Okay, about the pic. Please, please, PLEASE DO NOT CRITIQUE. I see exactly what's wrong and I do not need to be reminded about it. If you really want to know how much I'm complaining about the outcome of this (generally the anatomy) then please view my most recent journal (posted on 2/13 I believe.) and listen to my rants. Console me if you wish. Her legs don't even look like they're connected to the rest of her body because the skirt is too floofy in the back and her hips twist too much underneath itm and her arms are waaaay out of proportion as well. D: Crap. I'm beginning to suck more and more at linearts, but still. Read teh journul. :B
Oh, and if anyone wants to know who this is, it's Trista, one of my Star Labyrinth characters. You can draw her in the still-ongoing contest if you want, although she doesn't actually wear the outfit during the series or anything. It's just another V-day pic since my Kashuu one turned out absolutely terrifying. D: Oh well, I tried. The coloring took ages, but I think it actually turned out looking quite well. Yay!
Okay, I guess I'll see you guys soon. Byebye. Happy belated V-day as well!
MATERIALS USED: Copic .3 black multiliner, Copic markers, white charcoal Prismacolor pencil, opaque white calligraphy ink, done on bristol board and touched up in Photoshop CS2.

I love it! You've gotten better at drawing hands (as in, WAAAAAAAAY better) and I love how you managed to make the skirt turn out detailed, yet not so much that it's distracting. The skin's great, and the background's just so fluffy and cute and stuffs and I wanna eat it.:B
Anyway. Don't worry so much about the anatomy and stuff; mistakes happen. I still love it, though; it's way better than your Kashuu pic. (No offense...)
