Oh dear... such a horribly overdone concept. Plus a stupid title. Well, I wanted to take a shot at it... so don't kill me because it's been done to death. I just wanted to see how it would turn out.

And I failed. Miserably.

That stray shadow? The filter wouldn't hold up on its own so my dad held it down with a pencil while he took it, failing to get the shadow right in the middle of the fold. Unfortunately, this was the best shot I could get. I also have another one like this with the filter laying down, but since PSP keeps closing on me for some reason I can neither edit it nor post it, which sucks. And I think this one is a bit better... despite the shadow. So ignore that.

The lighting was hard to get... the extra light and dark spots were intentional. Not very balanced though. The pages are an opened encyclopedia on "art". I could've done photography instead but I thought art was better. Yes, I'm such a moron... but w/e. XDD; The colors were touched up to look less yellow (for some reason my indoor pics are yellow-tinted) and added contrast.

Currently the only non-photo piece I'm working on is some watercolor painting... I have the WIP pic but it spoils a lot of it. I just have to do the BG and stuff. It's taking forever though because I didn't know what kind of BG to make. I put masking fluid over a lot of the paint so I hope the paint isn't taken off once the fluid is lifted. But if it is then I'll just touch that up. XD I hope it's okay... well, enjoy this!

Camera used: Canon EOS D30... I can't wait until I get a better lens for it... x_x
